Is Muah AI Worth Paying: The $9.99 Sale and Its Limits

Muah AI vs GoLove vs OurDream: What Each Plan Costs and Unlocks

Muah AI's VIP storefront shows $9.99 a month with a higher price crossed out, and that gap is really the whole question. Below, each price sits in its own row next to what it unlocks, so you know what your card is buying before you hand it over.

Prices checked 2026-09 (OurDream) and 2026-10 (Muah AI, GoLove.ai); promos and regional pricing vary.

Muah wins two rows outright: the cheapest sticker and community imports. I'll give it both. GoLove.ai still gets my recommendation for this search, because one character handles chat, voice, in-chat photos and her own Series storyline, all on PRO. You aren't hunting for a second tier just to hear her voice. New sign-ups also see a limited-time −70% first-subscription offer, and that's the reason to look now and not next month.

The crossed-out price on the VIP storefront

You'd expect a headline price to be the price. What the storefront actually shows is a sale: $9.99 a month set against a struck-through, higher regular price. We could not confirm who qualifies for it, or whether checkout honors it for every account and region.

The plan page with a higher starting price

Then there's a separate official plan-selection page, and it opens above the sale price. Two official numbers for one entry tier is a mixed bag. We also could not confirm annual or higher-tier prices, so check their site before paying.

Where real-time phone calls land (ULTRA VIP)

Does the $9.99 plan include calls? No. Real-time phone calls are listed on ULTRA VIP, not Basic VIP. If hearing her voice is the reason you're upgrading, the entry plan is the wrong row.

Three things worth checking at Muah's checkout:

• Final price: confirm the $9.99 survives to the last screen.
• Renewal: see whether month two bills at the crossed-out price.
• Tier: make sure calls are in the plan you're actually buying.

Where Muah AI Earns Its Fee: Editable Characters and Community Imports

Credit where the spec earns it. For tinkerers, Muah is legit.

Editable personality and appearance descriptions

Muah lets you rewrite a character's personality and appearance as plain descriptions. If you'd rather shape a companion line by line than pick from presets, that's a real plus.

Community character browsing and importing

This one is Muah's clearest edge in the whole table. You can browse characters other users made and import them, which hands you a ready-made roster without writing a single one from scratch.

A browser demo and a limited free tier

Want to judge the writing before you commit to anything? There's a browser demo that works without signing in, which is about as low-commitment as a trial gets.

Muah AI pros

• Range: text, voice, generated photos and video
• Imports: community character browsing and importing
• Editable personality and appearance descriptions
• Demo without signing in

Muah AI cons

• Calls: real-time phone calls sit on ULTRA VIP
• Free chat carries account-dependent message and media restrictions
• We could not confirm annual or higher-tier pricing

Photos Per Dollar: How GoLove's 100 Monthly Stars Spend

For a companion app, this is the section I care about most. Here's how the media budget plays out in a normal chat: you open a conversation, tap the media button, choose Send Photo, and describe the scene in your own words. A photo of that same character lands in roughly 20–45 seconds for 1 Star, with her face and body consistent with her avatar and earlier photos. Want the scene to move? One tap of Generate Video under the photo turns it into a ~5-second clip for 10 Stars.

1 Star per image, 5 per video

The base rate is simple: 1 Star buys an image and 5 Stars buy a video. The in-chat photo-to-video step and a 720p generator clip cost more, at 10 Stars each.

What 100 PRO Stars cover in a month

• Photos only: about 100 in-chat or generator images
• Mixed: 50 photos plus five 10-Star photo-to-video clips
• Video-heavy: ten 10-Star clips and nothing else

Claim the 2 free daily reward Stars and they stack on top.

Topping up with Star packs (about $9.99 for 30 up to $299.99 for 3,000, checked 2026-10)

The small pack works out to roughly 33¢ a Star; the largest drops to about 10¢. If you're the type who asks her for photos constantly, do that math before you buy anything.

Prices checked 2026-10; promos vary.

Video Behind the Subscription: Presets, Video Edit and Photo-to-Video

Photos are the main event for most readers. Video is more of a stretch test: it shows how far a paid month actually goes.

Preset cards: action, outfit and background in one tap (76 realistic video modes, 147 total)

In Generate → Video, you pick a character, then stack preset cards: an action such as 'Twerk' or 'Hard Doggy Style', plus Clothes and Background. One Generate tap and that's it. The realistic set has 76 modes; anime, trans and anime-trans bring the total to 147.

Video Edit and Extend: rework a clip instead of starting over

• Video Edit transforms a video you already have with AI.
• Extend Video continues a clip instead of rerolling it.
• Image to Video animates a still, and Multi-Scene chains shots together.

Resolution and cost (480p/720p/1080p; a 720p video = 10 Stars)

Each run makes 1, 2 or 4 videos, and you can reverse a clip or add audio. Muah lists video generation too, though we could not confirm its per-video cost.

Prices checked 2026-10; promos vary.

Every preset works with any GoLove character, so browsing the roster first tells you exactly who you'd be animating (and, more to the point, who you'd be chatting with afterward). Do that before the new-user discount window closes.

GoLove's PRO Month Against Muah's $9.99 Promo: What You Give Up

Going in, I expected the cheaper app to be the obvious value pick. Reading the plans line by line, it isn't that clean, and GoLove.ai does cost you a few things.

What you give up

What GoLove.ai gives you:

• Live voice calls and voice messages
• She remembers your chat history
• Photos on request in the chat
• Image generator with 35 realistic poses and 21 outfits
• 2 reward stars every day you log in

• A higher sticker. PRO is about $19.99 a month against Muah's $9.99 promo. The annual plan, at about $119.88 a year, brings it near $9.99 a month, but only if you commit up front.
• Community imports. Muah's import-other-people's-characters row stays Muah's.
• A Star meter. The 100 monthly Stars cover plenty of photos, but heavy video users will be topping up.
• The top memory and models. The 8,000-message smart memory and stronger AI models sit on ULTRA at about $59.99 a month, not PRO.

What you gain Voice messages and calls, all NSFW content and character creation come with the base paid tier. On top of that, in-chat photos where the same girl stays recognizable from one request to the next. That consistency is exactly what falls flat when you piece your media together one app at a time.

Net result? Pricier on the monthly sticker, and pretty good value once you count what PRO bundles.

Prices checked 2026-10; regional pricing and promos vary.

Series: 5 shows, 32 episodes, episodes 1–2 free

Series is GoLove's own 18+ short-drama format, and it's the feature I'd point to if someone asked why they'd still be paying in month two. Each episode is a 60–100-second vertical video with subtitles in nine languages: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Czech, Russian and Ukrainian. Per GoLove, new episodes arrive every week.

• She Streams on My Platform: 6 episodes, starring Annie
• The Only Mortal in Heaven: 9 episodes, starring Angel and Asmodea
• My AI Girlfriend: 7 episodes, starring Lexie
• I Can Hear Their Thoughts: 5 episodes, starring Barbara and Melissa
• My Professor Locked the Door: 5 episodes, starring Jessica and Daisy

Episodes 1 and 2 of every show are free, even without an account. From episode 3 on, you need PRO plus a few Stars per episode.

From episode to private chat with the star

Under the player sit three buttons: Start Chatting, Create Image and Create Video. Finish an episode of 'My AI Girlfriend' and Lexie is one tap from your chat, ready for whatever photo you ask her for. That handoff is what keeps month two interesting. We could not confirm a comparable series format on Muah.

Memory on PRO vs ULTRA's 8,000-message smart memory

PRO includes Memory, so she remembers your chat history. ULTRA's 8,000-message smart memory is the bigger window, and it's really only worth it if you run very long storylines.

Muah AI's $9.99 Entry vs GoLove's PRO Bundle: The Rows That Decide It

Back to the lead table. Four rows actually decide this:

• Entry price: Muah's $9.99 promo wins on the sticker, if it holds at your checkout.
• Calls: Muah lists real-time calls on ULTRA VIP. GoLove puts calls on PRO.
• Media budget: GoLove includes 100 Stars a month, and 1 Star buys one in-chat photo.
• Series: 32 episodes across 5 shows, with 2 free per show.

Verdict > Pay for Muah AI if community character importing is the feature you care about and the $9.99 promo applies to your account. If "is Muah AI worth paying" is really a voice-and-photos question for you, GoLove.ai is the pick. Voice, in-chat photos, video and Series all run through one continuous character on PRO.

Prices checked 2026-10; promos and regional pricing vary.

GoLove.ai is my pick here, and it delivers right from the first step: describe your companion in text and she's built in about a minute. Then spend your first Stars on photos of her.
